The other day I was rereading the beginning of Tsubasa (and trying not to get sad about how GOOD it could have been, versus what it ended up being after the third act twist) and realized something odd. My whole life, since I first saw CCS at the tender age of 10, I had loved and found Syaoran to be extremely attractive. As I reread the story, I only saw him as cute. He was adorable, snuggly, I wanted to hug him.
He is, after all, still a boy in many respects. Oh sure, the cheesecake fanservice of him as an adult was nice, but the character is still a boy to me, and he always will be...perpetually between 10 and 15. That's part of his magic, and it's why I don't see him as hot anymore. I'm growing up.
Now, Kurogane...yea, that's a sexy man
